Missing child

Monday, 1 June 2009

Robin has been helping a ‘left-behind’ father, Ken Thompson, whose wife stole their 3-year-old son and vanished overseas. Although Robin has been involved in a supportive role with many ‘left-behind’ parents since the publication of her book, Taken in Contempt about the abduction of her own grandson, this story is different. In this case the mother and child are both Australian citizens and not returning to a country of the mother’s origin, which usually makes it easier to find them.

Melinda Thompson (nee Stratton) and Andrew, now 4 years old, travelled via Singapore to Frankfurt in March 2008. Since then, neither has been seen, although Melinda is in contact with journalists in Australia, trying to justify her actions of depriving a little boy of his home and his father and forcing him to live a fugitive’s life on the run. Interpol has an arrest warrant for Melinda in 187 countries.

Andrew’s website is: http://www.findandrew.com/

If you can help in anyway please contact me or Andrew’s father, Ken Thompson on kenthompson@fastmail.fm in STRICTEST confidence.
